Our Worship

We seek to make our worship relevant to today's changing situations, supporting our congregations in their everyday lives whilst encouraging meaningful worship of our great God. We have a variety of styles of worship at Christchurch.

Sunday 9:00am Interactive

Sunday 10:45am Preacher led Worship

BiteSize is our fun, dynamic, family friendly environment that includes about half an hour of crafts and activities before a short children’s service. We use 'messy church' resources to delivery good quality content that is age appropriate, engaging and fun for children.

Special Moments in Life Encounters Service is our service for children with special needs and their families. We meet in Dan’s Den for a play whilst everyone arrives and then go through to the Lower Hall for songs, Makaton and sensory activities relating to the theme. Afterwards we return to Dan’s Den for more play and refreshments.

Evening Service
There is a monthly Circuit Service, usually on te second Sunday of the month, which moves around all te churches in the Circuit. Please see the Calendar to check dates and locations.
Members of Christchurch lead services at some of the local residential homes during the early evening and all are welcome to share in these worship times.

Pause For Thought
Friday morning sees a short 20 minute service for those who wish to have a break from their shopping, or for whom Friday is a convenient time to worship.

Special Services
Of course, our church is happy to support those looking for a baptism, wedding or funeral, and these can be arranged within our Sunday services or at other times.

Audio Visual Support
We make use of projectors for song words, and additional visual presentations, with a sound system and audio loop for the hard of hearing.
