Saltholme 2009

Seal SandsIn October 2009, we visited Saltholme RSPB Reserve, a relatively new reserve set among the scrublands of the industrial Tees estuary.

We also went along to nearby Seal Sands (pictured) where we did in fact spot some seals.

We spotted 45 species, of which three were new to the 'list', with a good look at some Whimbrel alongside Curlew for comparison.
