This is an informal group who go bird watching now and again.
We usually visit RSPB or Yorkshire Wildlife reserves (for some, a cafe is an essential part of the day!) enjoying each other's company, the wonderful countryside and the splendid bird life around us, with the advantage of many pairs of eyes doing the spotting.
After a five year pause, our last trip was April 2017, when we went for a Dawn Chorus walk from Barden Bridge to the Strid to catch all the Spring migrants.
Our 'tick list' is now up to 139 species (to January 2012).
