What is Mardi Gras?
Mardi Gras is the Carnival season leading up to Shrove (or Pancake) Tuesday. It is a time of celebration and feasting before the serious time of Lent which leads up to Easter. It is celebrated around the world by all traditions.
Mardi Gras themes are Justice, Power and Faith. At Christchurch we will celebrate God’s justice and power and our faith.

Please join us at 10:00am on Sunday 06 March
in your Mardi Gras colours
and bringing something you want to give up for Lent.
